Green Tourism Scotland Bronze Award for Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages
The aim is to bypass the silver level and achieve gold by the next assessment. We’ve done much of the hard work having already installed wind turbines providing electricity and the bio mass boiler providing hot water and heat for two of the cottages. Since the assessor’s visit we’ve already switched to Ecover products in the cottages (dishwasher tablets, clothes washing liquid and washing up liquid) and we’ve got a few green tourism ideas which we’re looking forward to developing over the next few months.
