No sooner is Halloween over than all the adverts on television and all shops and supermarkets switch into Christmas mode. And we’re not much better at Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages! We have availability for Christmas 2015 at two of our cottages on the estate: Garden Cottage, which sleeps 6 and Stables Cottage, which sleeps 4. We also have availability at our recently launched holiday house house in Portpatrick – Cedar Lodge – which sleeps 8.

All our cottages come beautifully decorated for Christmas with a beautiful tree, a home-made ivy wreath on the front door (I took inspiration from ‘Kirstie’s Home-Made Christmas’!) and festive garlands on the mantel pieces – so that’s one thing ticked off your Christmas list.

They offer a peaceful break – a complete getaway from traffic, noise, crowds and the frenetic pace of city life. There is tonnes of wildlife to watch – from red squirrels, roe deer and hares – to the vast number of birds which come to winter on Loch Ryan and there are many pretty walks on this Scottish country estate to enjoy. Both Garden Cottage and Cedar Lodge also have beautiful sea/sea loch views.
