Blessed with some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery here in south west Scotland, why not learn how to make the most of your holiday photographs?  If you’re a keen photographer and would like some tips on how to get the best out of your camera, talented Galloway-based professional photographer Pete Robinson is your man and he’s hosting two one day workshops at Logan Botanic Garden on Monday, 23 July and Wednesday, 8 August.

The courses, which cost £70 per person, are aimed at the beginner and keen amateur photographers with the desire to “get out of auto” and take control of the camera. Learn more about exposure, composition, details, critique & processing under Pete’s guiding hand.

Out and about with my camera on a sunny day at Logan Botanic Garden

Logan Botanic Garden is the perfect venue – there are so many opportunities for your camera from  the reflections on the fishponds and the beautiful floral displays to impressive trees.  I was quite pleased with one of my shots that I took on a visit to the gardens earlier in the year – see below!
