Summer is just around the corner and with so much uncertainty around because of Brexit, one thing you can be sure of is a relaxing, get away from it all holiday at Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages on the coast in Dumfries and Galloway. We still have a limited number of weeks available at three of our luxury cottages in July and August:

High Clachan Farmhouse, which sleeps 8, is perfect for larger families or groups and is less than a mile from the nearest beach. It has lovely rural views over the rolling Galloway countryside.  This charming farmhouse has four bedrooms – three doubles/twins which are all en suite and a further bedroom with bunk beds. There’s masses of living space – this dog friendly holiday house has a large open plan kitchen with dining area, an incredibly sunny conservatory and a sitting room with a log burning stove – although hopefully it won’t be required in July! This luxury self-catering farmhouse, which is rated 4* by VisitScotland, is available from 13-20 July and 20-27 July at a rate of £1,255 per week.

Home Farm Cottage, which sleeps 5, has three bedrooms and is a pretty gingerbread cottage with a sunny terrace out the front and sheltered courtyard at the rear. This is our newest cottage – we launched it last year and it’s proving immensely popular with guests – so we only have one week left in August – 23-30 August at a rate of £950 for 7 nights.

Enjoy the peace and quiet and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at our luxury holiday cottages in peaceful Dumfries and Galloway. There’s masses of wildlife to spot on the estate from red squirrels and hares to roe deer and otters right on your doorstep. There’s acres of lawn and woodland for children to explore, plus there’s a great climbing frame with swings, lookout post and a slide; there’s also a trampoline and a pretty Wendy house.

For trips to the beach, Lady Bay is on the Corsewall Estate and is a short drive away from any of our luxury self-catering holiday houses. With beautiful views down Loch Ryan and over to Ailsa Craig, Lady Bay has a pretty sandy beach, which is relatively sheltered and great for children to swim, paddle or build sand castles. There’s also a small stream – so children never tire at building dams.
