With the completion of an exciting new path network at Corsewall, all our four luxury holiday cottages on the Estate are now all linked so that all are within easy walking distance of each other and all are within easy walking distance of the beach too. This is great news if you are looking for luxury self-catering accommodation in Dumfries & Galloway for a large group of friends or family (up to 23 people) getting together for a holiday or a celebratory weekend near the sea.

Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages

There are three cottages which are located close to each other in the heart of the estate: Garden Cottage, which sleeps 6 in three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. Stables Cottage is 60 metres from Garden Cottage, which sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and has a cosy log burning stove and Home Farm Cottage, which is 250 metres away from Stables Cottage and 300 metres from Garden Cottage, which sleeps 5 in three bedrooms and also has a log burning stove.

Home Farm Cottage

High Clachan Farmhouse is 1000 metres or a 15-minute walk from Stables, Garden and Home Farm Cottages and is now connected by a brand new path, which we’ve created. It’s a lovely walk through woods, beside the hedgerows and fields.

The New Path to High Clachan Farmhouse – which can be seen in the top left

This 4-star luxury holiday house sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, three of which have en suite bathrooms, plus it has a log burning stove in the sitting room. This house has a large dining room table in the kitchen. in addition to a large table and chairs in the adjoining conservatory, so it’s possible for larger groups of up to 16 people to eat together under the same roof.

High Clachan Farmhouse

The route to the farmhouse is part of three new paths which we created in 2019.  There’s a 3 km loop around the estate, which affords beautiful rural and coastal views over Loch Ryan and to Ailsa Craig and Arran in the distance.  There’s a spur which specifically links in the farmhouse and another spur which connects the beach.  We’ve also created a path along the headland which takes you from Port Beg to Lady Bay – the prettiest sandy beach belonging to the estate.
