Road out of Lockdown for Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages

At long last it looks like the re-opening of holiday cottages is within sight and we will be able to welcome guests back to our luxury self-catering cottages from Monday, April 26 2021.

The detail of re-opening is not 100 per cent certain yet, however, our understanding of the Scottish government’s announcement yesterday is:

Monday, April 26 2021

Holiday cottages can re-open to guests from across Scotland.  Hopefully, guests from England, Ireland and Wales will be allowed to travel into Scotland and this will be confirmed nearer the time.  At this first stage, only one household is allowed per cottage.

Monday, May 17 2021

Now 4 guests from up to 2 households can stay in one cottage.

Beginning of June

We anticipate that up to 6 guests from up to 3 households can stay in cottage.

Blooming Marvellous Time to Visit Corsewall Estate

I will put together a detailed guide nearer the time about what local visitor attractions and restaurants etc. are re-opening and when, however, from Corsewall Estate’s point of view it is the most wonderful time to be staying here on the Estate and visiting the tropical south west of Scotland.

Our gardens will be bursting with colour by the end of April – the delicate magnolias dotted around the gardens and the carpets of bluebells which line the woodland walks will be coming to the fore.  The rhododendrons around the lawns and woods will be in full pelt and the azaleas too.

Of course, this all may be subject to change, so if you are in any doubt about your holiday or making a booking – do contact me through the website and I will be happy to help as best I can.
